Determine from the documentation for the cable what port (perhaps LPt2:, LPt3: or some other port). Install the driver as follows: first install any necessary drivers for the USB-parallel cable. There is a driver supplied through Windows Update in Windows 10 for the Deskjet 720c, which is a good match for the Deskjet 722c.Connect the HP Deskjet 722c and turn on the printer. Plug in the USB-parallel cable and install any necessary drivers. ![]() Make sure any USB-parallel cable you get is supported in Windows 10. There are USB-parallel converter cables available, but these can be problematic.
